Stolen Scarlet Macaw
Stolen BLaze
January 7,1999 I returned to the United States after several weeks visit to South Africa. While in SA on the 27 of December 1998 I recieved a call from the Goss's telling me that my Blaze had flown away. As you can see he has a wing that is not able to allow him to fly away of which the Goss's didn't know this. Blaze is micro chipped! I followed through with going to the Goss's neighbors, vets offices of which Mike and Arleen told me they contacted with my finding out they didn't even contact their neighbor much less anywhere else, such as neighborhood feed houses, fish camps. Not one professional, feed house or pet stores in that area heard of any Macaw missing.
Not even their neighbor.....
I would have believed Mike and Arleen for they told me the were everywhere to find him and I found this was not so for I went everywhere in their area to find this was not reported to anyone, not even their vet or my vet. Thus, my heart sank as I thought 'he is gone' till I received the call from stranger telling me different. Just by chance, the security was here with Police immediately summoned to listen in on this person's calls to me. The police were sitting here in my living room and listening to every call made by this person to me regarding the theft of my Macaw.
This the police report I picked up at the station for nothing has been done to return my Macaw either by the Goss's or the Latin couple who supposed to have found a Scarlet Macaw in a pet carrier in Jupiter on I95.
If reading this police report of grand theft you can help please contact Detective Kelly here in Vero Beach and if you know more of the Ring please contact Larry Benedict FDL at 800-226-1140.
BTW, Blaze's mate, Scarlet is still with me and she is the one they really hurt as she was with him 12 years with eight of those years here with me.
Blaze was last seen in Jupiter Farms, Florida in December 1998 at the Goss, (Mike and Arleen) Bird Farm. This male Scarlet has a narrow band of Yellow with green on his tips of the yellow on the wings. Blaze is Micro chipped!
I was told by Dean of Buy, Buy Birdies in Southern Florida that his mobile company was trimming the nails and feathers of A Scarlet Macaw found on I 95 the first week of January 1999 by a Latin couple who live in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Fantastic Feathers Bird Store Owners, Lynn and Blair in Port St. Lucie, Florida by E-mail wrote me of their client that knows the Latin couple who found a Scarlet Macaw and live in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Just teasers nothing to help me bring my male, Blaze back to his mate, Scarlet . They were together 12 years, and here for nine (9) years. Scarlet, Blaze's mate, is here with me waiting for her mate of 12 years.
Anyone who knows this Latin couple who found a Scarlet Macaw or the name and address of those people who have found a Scarlet Macaw notify Detective Kelly in Vero Beach, Florida 561-978-4632.
Or myself, Cherane with clicking the email at the top of this page.
A Police Report had been filed the day I had been notified of the Scarlet Macaw had been sold/stolen.
I hope someone will bring Blaze back home to his mate, Scarlet and me.
He was microchipped by Dr. Sam Backos
UPDATE 2006: Blaze is still gone from me and his mate, Scarlet. Scarlet is no longer with me she went with Troy the later part of 2003.
